Homemade Marshmallow

av Ryszard Rzepa for

Today I share with you a recipe for marshmallow from the old days. This is one of the first recipes that I enrolled in his notebook in the days of elementary school. In total, for many years I did not use it, but his time was a real hit. Dessert very easy, and the children (and not only) love it. In addition to it, you can use a greater amount of proteins and this without turning on the oven :-)

for 22 - 25 pcs:

- 8 egg whites
- 1 and 1/2 glass. Sugar (maybe a little less)
- 8 teaspoons gelatine
- Lemon juice (approx. 2 tablespoons) or citric acid (approx. 1/4 teaspoon)
- A little bit of flavor cream
- Biscuits to form the liner
- If necessary. 1 tablespoon raspberry syrup and 1 teaspoon cocoa

- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- 3 tablespoons cocoa
- 60 g of butter
- 1 teaspoon gelatin

The bottom of the mold (approx. 23 x 33 cm), put biscuits.

Soak gelatin in a few tablespoons of cold boiled water. The vessel was put into a pot of hot water and stir to completely dissolve the gelatin.

Beat the whites to stiff. Gradually add sugar and lemon juice and beat until the sugar dissolves. Add the gelatin and cream flavor, whip for a while. At this point, the weight can be divided in half and added to one of raspberry juice or cocoa. Put into prepared pan, align the top and refrigerate. Prepare the topping.

Gelatin pour a small quantity of hot water and stir until dissolved. The rest of the ingredients to boil. Add the gelatin to the rest of the mass. Mix well and cool. When slightly thickened, pour solidified marshmallow. The whole again cool.
